In a Google Play reply of 29 September 2026 to a question about buying crypto assets, Paynet mentioned "Paynet Crypto": "Paynet Crypto haqida batafsil ma'lumotga ega bo'lish uchun biz bilan bog'laning." — "contact us for more details about Paynet Crypto" (translated from Uzbek). In the NAPP register as of 2 October 2026, PAYNET CRYPTO LLC (founder: UZPAYNET LLC, 100%) is a separate licensee with CD #0002 and CS #0006. According to our CityPay review, the licenses of the wallet in Paynet belong to CITY PAY GATE (founders per the register: PAYNET JSC 45%, CJSC UAB City Pay 45%, Koberidze David 10%). Paynet is also linked to the GoInvest stock-trading service: according to a GoInvest announcement of 18 September 2026, FurtherIT, a Paynet subsidiary, increased its stake in GOINVEST to 51% (GoInvest reviews).

CityPay itself does not respond to reviews in the stores, since it has no listings of its own there. In an official statement on Telegram of 30 July 2026, the company denied information circulating on social media that CityPay "allegedly holds crypto assets belonging to a user in the amount of 1,250 USDT" (translated from Russian). According to CityPay, the user sent a token to a SOL deposit address, and the token itself "is not official USDT" and "was not credited to the user's balance" (translated from Russian). In the carousel attached to the post (four images, read on 2 October 2026), the company specifies that the transaction was made on 6 July 2026 and that as of 24 July "18 calendar days had passed, not one month, as stated in certain publications"; CityPay "did not block and is not holding the user's funds" (translated from Russian). Neither the post nor the carousel links to the publications themselves.
